A Memorial service to celebrate the life of Ernest C. Hardin, 75, of Somerville, is set for 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 1, 2010 at Strickland Funeral Home Chapel in Somerville. Mr. Hardin died Saturday, February 27, 2010 in Burleson-St. Joseph Hospital in Caldwell.
Mr. Hardin was born October 6, 1934 in Woodlawn, (Nelson County) Kentucky, the son of Leslie Hollis and Agnus Gertrude Livers. He was married to Anne West in Topeka, Kansas on July 12, 1964 and served in the United States Army. He was a member of Am Vets and a member of the Elks Club.
He is preceded in death by his parents and a grandson, Jimmy Hendricks in October of 2008.
Survivors include his wife, Anne Hardin of Somerville; daughters and son-in-law, Linda Cubine of Somerville, Judy and Roland Flinn of Somerville and Sharon McAlister of Tennessee; numerous grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
